Submission Rules and Guidelines
- Entry is limited to original works for which the entrant holds all applicable rights..
- The limit for submission is 6 photos maximum per entrant ( any category )
- Submissions must be in digital format and entries need to be submitted online.
- The submitted photo must not contain any tag, signature, initial, frame, border, logo or any other references and/or marks added by the participant.
- Every image entered must be identified with the title, category, the photographer’s name, and ( 2”x 2” or 35mm x 35mm) of the entrants.
- All color, black & white and monochrome images are acceptable.
- Digital Image file size: not less than 5 MB size and not more than 20 MB size (higher resolution images for publication or display purposes related to the contest).
- Digital Image-data file format: JPEG. The minimum of the longest edge should be no less than 2000 pixel and the quality no less than 300dpi to be suitable for publication.
- The standard color space for the judging process is sRGB.
- Only minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable, as is minor cropping. High dynamic range images (HDR) and stitched panoramas acceptable. Any changes to the original photograph not itemized here or in the Guidelines are unacceptable and will render the Submission ineligible for a prize.
- Basic technical editing of the photo is acceptable, provided that any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photo.
- Each Submission must be the submitting entrant’s own, produced work and may not feature or focus on any material owned or controlled by third parties (unless the entrant can provide written documentation of permission to use any materials owned by a third party as set forth below or in a form and substance determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion).
Important Note
Any entrant who incorporates any intellectual property or material owned by a third party into his or her Submission does so at his or her own risk.
Publicity Release
By participating in the Contest, in addition to any other grants which may be granted in any other agreement entered into between Sponsor and any entrant in and/or winner of the Contest, each entrant irrevocably grants the Promotion Entities and their respective successors, assigns and licensees, the right to use such entrant’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, and any other personal characteristics, in any and all media in connection with the Contest and the advertising and promotion thereof and each entrant and/or prize winner hereby release the Promotion Entities from any liability with respect thereto.
